Anton Shukhnin helps the army: a car for the MID
Domino owner Anton Shukhnin announced a new step by the company in supporting the Ukrainian military. In August, the Domino chain donated an off-road vehicle to a special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which is needed to carry out combat missions. The vehicle was purchased thanks to a charitable initiative by the chain of stores. All the money earned on the holidays of August 23 and 24 was directed by the company to this specific need.
"Today, helping the army is not just a good gesture, but a shared responsibility of every citizen and every business. We made a conscious decision to direct our profits to support the military, because they are the ones who enable us to work and develop our country," emphasized Anton Shukhnin. According to him, companies should actively participate in strengthening the rear and contribute to victory — from financial support to social projects. Domino has already started the practice of designating certain days when all earnings are directed to the needs of the Ukrainian military. “This model can serve as an example for other entrepreneurs. If every business shares a portion of its profits, we will be able to achieve results faster and bring us closer to a shared victory,” Shukhnin emphasized.
He also noted that his three young children are growing up in Ukraine, so he feels a double responsibility. Anton Shukhnin can only fulfill his desire for his children to grow up in a peaceful and safe Ukraine by supporting the army. “This is only possible when business and society support our soldiers every day,” he wrote in his Facebook post.
Previously, Domino announced a special initiative for Ukraine's Flag Day and Independence Day. The company decided to donate all profits earned during these holidays to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The brand owner, Anton Shukhnin, called on other Ukrainian entrepreneurs to join similar campaigns and direct part of their companies' revenues to strengthening the country's defense capabilities.
