The Cartier brand is the embodiment of elegance and innovation, becoming a symbol of sophistication and boldness in the world of jewelry. The story began in 1847, when Louis-François Cartier, a student of the Parisian jeweler Adolphe Picard, acquired his workshop and founded the House of Cartier. This family name soon gained worldwide fame, and the products - the status of an icon. Cartier has always strived for new solutions, and thanks to bold experiments with platinum, a metal that is difficult to process, the house created jewelry that emphasizes the sparkle of diamonds, making them visually weightless and almost "floating". One of the most recognizable creations is the Trinity ring, designed in 1924. Three intertwined rings without beginning or end, symbolizing love, friendship and fidelity, have become iconic for the brand. The popularity of this ring spread throughout the world and inspired the creation of an entire Trinity collection. This style has captivated celebrities, and has been worn by legends such as Princess Diana and Nicole Kidman.
Cartier designer Aldo Cipullo also added iconic pieces to the brand, creating iconic minimalist jewelry. One of these was the Juste un Clou collection, which debuted in 1971. Inspired by the simple shape of a nail, this collection symbolizes bold style and minimalism. Later, the Juste un Clou line expanded to include earrings, rings, and cufflinks, cementing Cartier's reputation as an innovator.
