Eleventy Milano (Eleventy) is an Italian luxury brand founded by childhood friends Marco Baldassari and Paolo Zuntini in 2007 in Milan. It produces different luxury goods: clothing, shoes, accessories, home and lifestyle items. The head office is located in Milan and New York.

Marco Baldassari has been the creative director of the men's line since its inception and still is. Paolo Zuntini is the chief designer of the women's line. They have owned 49% of the shares since 2014, and 51% of the shares are owned by private equity firm Vei Capital. Branded items are bought in Italy, the US, the Netherlands, France, Japan and other countries.

Eleventy's philosophy and style

The first directions are collections of women's and men's clothing and footwear. How Italian luxury brand Eleventy

Marco Baldassari and Paolo Zuntini have known each other since childhood. They have spent most of their lives promoting other companies and working as agents for different brands. The idea to create their own project gave the world the luxury brand Eleventy Milano, founded in 2007. Two years later, Andrea Scuderi joined them as partner and head of operations.

The key figure for the brand is creative director Marco Baldassari, who calls his style "casual elegance". He participates in various events, while the other partners stay "behind the scenes". Marco, together with Paolo Zuntini, has only given a few interviews in which he talks about entering new markets.

World recognition

After seven years, the brand's founders thought about expanding the business and began looking for an outside investor. In 2014, the majority stake was bought by Vei Capital, an investment fund that was used to acquiring larger businesses, but saw promise in the young Italian brand. It invested €13 million in retail, manufacturing, mono-brand stores and online sales.

With the million-dollar investment, Eleventy clothing became available in different countries. In 2016, they opened Eleventy USA, headquartered in New York City. That same year, sales doubled. About 30% of the profits come from the home market - Italy. The first mono-brand boutiques were opened in Milan, Brescia, Naples and Sardinia.

70% of revenue comes from the US and various European countries, including Ukraine. Wealthy people can buy branded items from Eleventy on Domino, the online store of the prestigious Ukrainian retailer.

Eleventy Milano entered the Dutch market in 2011, where its luxury clothing was sold in an upscale store in Amsterdam and a corner in Rotterdam. It also appealed to people in Japan and various Asian countries.

In the mid-2010s, Italian brand Eleventi was actively promoting its products in different parts of the world. According to the founders, they were targeting three main European cities - London, Paris and Munich. Promotion of the Italian brand in America

In 2022, the authoritative publication WWD (Women's Wear Daily) wrote about a new mono-brand store on Madison Avenue where you can buy Eleventy original clothing, shoes and other branded items. The flagship store occupied 2,000 square feet in a building formerly owned by Barneys department store. The article mentions that the Italian brand's promotion in North America is being handled by sales manager Jeff Schneiderman.
